How to Lower Your Driving Costs

How to Lower Your Driving Costs

Most people have a love/hate relationship with driving. They love the freedom that it brings, and the convenience, but boy oh boy, can it be expensive. And forget the cost of the car itself — that’s just the beginning. After that, you’ve got the cost of fuel, which always seems to be on the rise, insurance, toll roads, and everything else. And what’s worse is that it seems that we have no choice other than to pay up; that is, if we want to get to work and so on. But here’s the thing. It’s nearly always possible to lower the costs of getting from A to B, and to limit the amount of money our vehicle takes up. Below, we take a look at a few handy ways to ensure your car doesn’t eat up all your cash.

Driving the Correct Way

Most people use far more fuel than necessary, and they don’t even realise it. You don’t just have to accept how long a full tank of petrol will last you — it’s something that’s in your control. It’s all about ensuring you have a high MPG (miles per gallon). If you’re accelerating away from red lights too quickly, or braking harshly, or just generally going faster than necessary, then your engine is going to eat fuel. Take things a bit easier, and you’ll be waiting longer between trips to the petrol station.

Best Route, Cheapest Fuel

You’ll also want to keep in mind that there isn’t a standard price for petrol. You don’t need to accept the price of whatever your nearest station is selling their fuel for! Do a little research on how to locate the cheapest petrol in your area, and you’ll be paying less when you’re at the pump. The difference might not seem that much when you just take one trip into account, but when you multiply it over a year, you’ll see savings.

Regular Maintenance

A car in good condition will also use fuel more efficiently, but that’s not the only reason why vehicle maintenance is essential. It’ll also prevent more serious, and costly issues from materialising. It’s much better to have an expert perform a regular oil change, under the hood checks, and other general car maintenance, rather than wait for the small problem to become a big issue, and have to pay through the roof to get it fixed. Take care of your car, and it’ll take care of you.

Leave it at Home

Some people automatically get into their vehicle once they leave their front door, but it’s not a force of nature. No-one commands you to drive, anywhere! In some cases, it can be much cheaper to leave the car at home, and instead take public transport. It can be cheaper, faster, and you won’t have to worry about paying to park your car once you arrive, either. If you insist on driving (or have no other choice), then spend some time researching the best route to your destination. The quickest route might get you there sooner, but if you’re covering many more miles than an alternative route, then the journey will cost you more.

Best Online Therapy When the Panic Sets In

Best Online Therapy When the Panic Sets In

Everyone on the planet has or will experience a sense of panic in their lifetime. For someone who has never felt the common symptoms, they will flock online for the best therapy options or natural cures.

Feeling anxious

Feelings of being anxious are common. Major life changes or past traumas can spark an uneasy feeling that can escalate very quickly into panic.

At the first feeling of that twinge, it’s best to expel that extra energy in a positive way. Doing something physical like walking or exercising can simply change the brain pattern.

Feeling overwhelmed

Has the boss laid too much work on you? Have you over promised family or friends of your time or expertise? When overwhelmed emotions can leech out in different ways. Sometimes the desire to cry is so deep, but no tears will flow. Anger can also be a result of feeling like you have too much on your plate. However, one of the most common symptoms is tiredness. Have you ever felt that if you could just sleep for a day, you’ll get back on track tomorrow?

Rest is exactly what your brain and body need. It doesn’t exactly mean sleep, though. Rest is when you can find peace of mind. It’s where you can reassess and prioritize what needs to be done. Maybe everything on your plate needs to be done, but with a clear mind, and realizing it takes one step at a time, it can all be accomplished. You will eventually become aware of how not to allow yourself to be spread too thin.

Feeling scared

Situations leaving you unnecessarily scared is a sure sign that you’ve put too much pressure on yourself and life around you. Think of the way a dam works. It holds back a large amount of water. By doing this, it stops a potential flood, and water can be routed to other areas where it would be most useful like irrigation resources for crops and water supplies.

When people hold in their emotions, this is ‘the dam’ concept. However, people don’t always reroute the emotions into something positive. They build up that dam thinking they’ve stopped those feelings on fear, being overwhelmed and anxious thoughts. Eventually, the emotions spill over or worse, …the dam breaks and everything stored up floods out everywhere.

Panic attacks

Together, feeling fear, overwhelmed, anxious, sweating, shaking, blurred vision, hard to breathe…This is all the result of the dam breaking. This is a true panic attack. And a majority of people think they are dying the first time this happens.

But you can stop a panic attack from starting by being proactive in your mental health. Mental health is just as important as physical and internal health. Adding brain foods into your diet is the first step. Balanced diets of vitamins and essential amino acids are necessary to protect the mind. This is the wall of the dam. B vitamins are great brain food, but if you’re contemplating supplements, always consult your doctor to see what’s best for you.

Now it’s time to reroute the water. Speaking to a professional is a great way to plan the reroute of your emotions. Some doctors might recommend medications to reduce depression and anxiety until you are able to manage situations better. You can check out some of the best online therapy to help instantly when you feel your emotions rising.

Using meditation, acupressure or pressure points can reduce the stress waters from rising.

Life is busy and unexpected for everyone. Now is the time to take back your mental health. Find peace and time to rest daily.

Why Taking A Road Trip May Be Better Than Flying

Why Taking A Road Trip May Be Better Than Flying

If you have to travel somewhere, then typically the go-to mode of transport is usually by air, but this is not only something that not everyone is into – for example those who have a major fear of flying or just find it otherwise inconvenient to fly, and even if you don’t particularly mind flying, then it has to be admitted that flying nowadays isn’t exactly the most comfortable way to travel – in fact unless you’re traveling business or first class, then it’s actually extremely uncomfortable and often downright annoying.

With everything from tiny airplane seats, obnoxious passengers who seem to think the world revolves around them, and airport queues that feel like they’re never going to end, the world of modern flying is now more of a means to an end than the high-flying experience of luxury in the air that it once was hailed as.

There are also plenty of other ways to travel, so although flying may be the fastest and sometimes cheapest for longer distances, it’s certainly not the only option – from busses, trains, and even boats, there you can find alternatives to suit your needs and your budget.

One of the best ways to travel if you like to plan your own schedule and don’t really feel like enduring the above downsides of flying is to consider taking a road trip.

Of course, in order to take a road trip you have to have some things in place, such as the ability to drive – either yourself or be traveling with someone who can drive, as well as making sure your vehichle has undergone the latest safety checks and that you have the correct insurances.

If you’re interested in taking a road trip, but you’ve either never learned to drive or it’s been a while since you’ve been behind the wheel, then you should look into some driving classes in your local area. You’ll be required to take both a theory and practical test before being given the go ahead to drive, but the time to do it is definitely worth it if you want the freedom of driving, so you can have a look at this site to get an idea of what’s required in order to take the tests.

It’s cheaper:

Although air travel is far cheaper than it used to be, it’s often a game of luck since the cost of your flight ticket will depend on various things such as the time of year, the destination, the number of tickets you’re buying, and also even the day of the week you’re traveling or buying your tickets, whereas gas prices are far more stable and so it’s going to be consistently cheaper to get in your car and drive across the country than it would be to take a flight.

It’s fun:

Whilst not everyone will imagine being stuck in a car for hours on end driving through miles of empty roads to be fun, a road trip with the right people can definitely be fun – and it can even be fun if you’re on your own. Bring along plenty of great music and the right attitude, and you’ll soon find that road trips are one of your favorite ways to travel where you want to go.

It’s more relaxing:

The great thing about a road trip is that they don’t have the same time schedule attached to them as flying or even the same as going with a bus or train – you can basically take off on the road whenever you feel like it and then take the route you choose and really relax as you go. There’s no rush when you’re on the road and this makes it a great way to enjoy it properly without all the usual stress that comes from flying.

It can be part of the trip:

Another great thing about taking a road trip is that you can plan your road trip around the things you’d like to do and see along the way, so it basically becomes part of the trip overall. For example, if you’ve wanted to see a certain town or city for a while but have never had the chance to visit, then taking a road trip could be the perfect way to make stops at these places and see some cool things along the way. This means you can have mini trips as part of your road trip by taking some time and even making overnight stops along the way if you’re able to plan and budget for them, and this also breaks up your trip which is good when driving for longer distances.

How to Deal With Engagement Call Off in The Least Torturous Way Possible

How to Deal With Engagement Call Off in The Least Torturous Way Possible

Breaking up is always difficult, regardless of the circumstances, but calling off an engagement is a whole new level of heart crushing. To enter such a “deal” with someone, in the first place, it takes being committed to someone to the point of wanting to grow old together. What makes it even more heart wrenching is that this relationship usually includes friends, family, finances, and logging.

Calling off an engagement that could lead to a bad marriage is kinder than building a bad marriage. It is possible, but how to go through such a turmoil in the least torturous way possible?

Saying the words

‘We need to talk’ is probably the most horrifying sentence to say and to hear, but sometimes it has to be said. Beating around the bush is the worst thing you can do. Instead, face the problem head-on. Say what it is that you want and why you want it. Include your fiancé[e] in the conversation. Talk with respect and kindness. Again, if you are not the one saying the words, have understanding for your partner’s reasons and try to bear it calmly.

Dealing with the emotional aftermath

The breakup is a serious trauma and all persons involved need to have time to grieve and heal. It is best to give each other space and resist the temptation to enter the endless “why” discussions and to be a part of each other’s lives, no matter the cost. This doesn’t mean that, later on, you won’t be able to have normal conversations or even be friends, but, for now, you need time to mend your wounds.

Solving the financial and living situation

If you and your former partner have lived together and shared expenses, you probably have more ties beyond the emotional ones. If you are still living together, until one of you finds a new place, make agreements about respectful cohabitation, and search for a new place as soon as possible. Paying the rent and bills should be divided equally, even if you are not talking to each other, this is something you need to resolve.

Whose is the engagement ring?

Engagement rings are usually considered gifts contingent on a wedding ceremony taking place. This means that the bride should return the ring. Still, if the ring was offered as a gift for a special occasion (e.g., birthday), it is hers to keep.

Source: unsplash.com

State laws vary when it comes to the question who gets the ring. Some states consider the ring a gift, while others have special terms in regards who breaks the engagement.

If there is a disagreement over the ring you can seek legal counsel, but it is always better to talk things through.

Announcing the breakup

People you work with, your family, and friends will want to know the engagement is called off. Since you don’t want to be the topic of gossip and conversation, it is best to tell them yourself. There is no easy way to do this, but it is the least painful for you and your former fiancé[e] divide the list of guests. To avoid going through this too many times, make announcements to groups of friends and family. Do not play the “blame game”, say it is over in the most respectful way and that it is not open for discussion.

Making formal cancelations

The clergy member or wedding officiate needs to know the wedding is canceled so he or she can take the date off the busy schedule. Keep in mind that some clergy members can recommend at least one counseling session. You will also need to contact all the vendors you have hired to provide services during the ceremony or the reception. You probably won’t get your deposit back and, in some cases, you will be liable for part of the payment.

Regardless of the reason of calling off the engagement, both of you should always keep in mind, and constantly repeat to yourselves if necessary, that the person you are leaving behind is the same person you once loved so much that you wanted to make an unbreakable vow to love and to hold for the rest of your lives.

Dance Floor Seduction – 4 Ways To Make Him Want You Bad

Dance Floor Seduction – 4 Ways To Make Him Want You Bad

Throughout the animal kingdom, species perform beautiful and colorful dance rituals to attract a mate. While humans do not have a specific ritual, we show physical clues that attract mates. With that said, when humans are on the dance floor, there are dances that are electric with sexual vibrations that drive our partners crazy with desire.

In this post, we will share some dance moves that are graceful, seductive, and without question, inviting.

There have been many scientific studies conducted around the world that prove that certain movements on the dancefloor attract mates sexually. (Really, scientific studies!) What did they prove? Men are attracted to women who seductively sway their hips, The seduction is stronger if she moves her arms fluidly while her hips sway. Women showed more sexual attraction to men when they danced with strong upper body movements.

This information brings us to our first dance on our list to make him want you.

1. Belly Dancing

Belly dancing has changed over the generations. In this dance, a woman celebrates her feminine charms with a dance that focuses on the hips. The dancer learns to move her hips independently from her rib cage and usually accents the hips with belts with hanging coins and decorations. You may not know that belly dancing was created as a dance that women performed for other women to celebrate her body and the ability to bring life into the world. Flowing veils and scarves, bare feet, and the use of her lovely arms extended over her head makes this dance a powerful pull to the man watching your performance.

   2. Tango

The Tango has long been considered one of the sexiest dance. It combines the seductive action of the man and woman in the areas that attract mates the most. As they step in sync, their bodies are teasingly close. Even watching a couple dance the Tango is enough to light a fire that will not easily be extinguished. Having total control and complete eye contact while your bodies move as one is just

    3. Flamenco

This solo Spanish dance has been turning heads since the 1700s. The Flamenco shows fire and excitement as the sexy costume twirls. Modern dancers use the fire that the dance generates to turn on her audience. If you are the partner of the Flamenco dancer, you will not take your eyes off her for a moment.

   4. Bambuco

If you happen to know the Columbian dance, the Bambuco, you know the heat this couples dance generates. It is not quite as sexy as the Bachata, but not everyone wants to mimic having sex on the dance floor. This personal dance is performed a lot like a sexed up Waltz. One thing is for sure, if you master this dance, you have a partner for life.

If you tap into your self-confidence and move with him and for him, you will have total control. Let your body generate the feelings that ignite your sexuality. A big part of that is having the right costume. Look for Just For Kix – dancewear, dance clothes, dance shoes, dance classes.

We use dance to communicate with our partner. It takes us to a higher level. We connect through the music, the movement, and feelings in our souls. Sexuality is an important part of who we are. But, it is not all that we are. Expressing ourselves through this medium connects us powerfully and completely.
