Skin Care Change Up with the Season Change. Tips in Action:

It’s that special time of year, when the skin on your body and face start to change up again. Whether it’s getting dry or oily, it just maybe time to change up the skin care regimen.

Sensitive skin, may feel like it’s past the point of any help at all with over drying, then becoming super oily and breakout may try to follow.

A great way to prevent the roller coaster of skin conditions, is before the indoor heat and the outside chill take it’s toll, try a deep natural moisturizer to help the balance.

Using a simple Almond oil, Jojoba oil or Olive oil as a 20 minute treatment can absorb down into layers, and restore balance. Doing this early in the season can reduce the battle time. Yet, sometimes it has to be done several times, before everything is back in harmony.

If your skin usually cracks and causes sores, from being dry or it excessively becomes oily, you may want to contact your doctor to see what kind of treatment can help you.

Tips in Action: When Everything is Against You.

I saw Keith Urban in concert the other night and I must say, it was a great show. Keith Urban has had an impressive career, with an upbeat, outstanding outlook on life, while appearing to be very grounded. So I was wondering, what kind of tips he lives by.

“Everybody’s on their own path and everybody has to come to their own
realization of what they want their life to be, and nobody can do it for
you and nobody can tell you how you should live and you just have to
make those decisions for yourself.†he said during an interview.

I thought, that is a great tip that people should realize, your life is up to you.

And, so I will add to that tip, when everything seems like its against you in life, that is the time you need to reflect and see if it is really, everything against you, or are you really going against everything. Meaning that, if people that love and care about you, are saying your on the wrong path or handling something wrong or say you have a bad attitude; you need to look at yourself, and see if you’re on the right path for you or ask yourself are they right about you going down a wrong path.

The first step to personal change is, acknowledging what you need or what to change.

Remember, when things are right for you, not everyone has to agree with your decisions but, happiness and support usually surrounds you, when you are doing good things.

Over Salt, Take it Out. Tips in Action:

Tips in Action: Over Salt, Take it Out. Tips in Action:

It does happen, sometimes there are many cooks in a kitchen and each one takes the opportunity to salt the water or the soup. And, wow that can ruin a dish quickly! So if you don’t want to eat something that tasted like it was prepared in the ocean and you don’t want to throw it out, wash a raw potato and cut it in half. Put it in the water or soup and let it sit for several minutes. It will absorb a lot of that excess salt, so you don’t have too. Remove the potato, and prepare as usual.

If you noticed it after you cooked noodles and strained the boiling water out already, run noodles under water. Then, put noodles back in pan and add warm water with the potato. It will still help absorb the salt.

Clean the Microwave. Tips in Action:

By Tia Cristy

Tips in Action: Clean the Microwave.

So it’s happen to the best of us, you put something in the microwave and it explodes. Whether the case is you don’t clean it up right away or it’s been happening repeatedly and now all that gunk is cemented to the inside of the microwave, it’s alright. There is a quick fix to getting that caked on food off the microwave without using chemicals.

Get a microwave safe bowl, fill it with water and place it in the microwave uncovered. Allow the water to boil for about 3 minutes on high.

Once the timer ends let it set for about 1 minute before opening the door. The steam will saturate the grime and all you need to do is wipe out with a paper towel or sponge, hardly using any elbow grease.

Remember, the bowl of water will be extremely hot, use caution when handling.
