Keeping a pad or even tampon, whether you’re male or female, in a car’s small first aid kit is beneficial, if you are in or come across a very bad accident, where a head or nose injury has occurred. Medication Tips on Triggers: Thyroid Meds.

There are tons of medications, that may trigger tons of side effects. Some side effects can be so obscure to a patient, suffering. So, a new thing, I decided to do is, when I hear of a trigger so odd given to me, from one of my readers, to look into it, to let you know,  what may be a possible side effect here. And, of course, recommend you, to call your doctor.

A reader was having very severe foot pain and cramping. After talking more about it to me, and their personal situation, I came to discover that Thyroid medicine, especially after changing up doses, can cause severe lower extremity muscle pain and cramping.

If one should feel something like that come on after a few months of changing their medicine, call your doctor immediately with your symptoms.

Remember, not all triggers feel good, but they are there for the positive; to tell our body’s when something is right and even when it’s wrong.

Over Salt, Take it Out. Tips in Action:

By Tia Cristy

Tips in Action: Over Salt, Take it Out. Tips in Action:

It does happen, sometimes there are many cooks in a kitchen and each one takes the opportunity to salt the water or the soup. And, wow that can ruin a dish quickly! So if you don’t want to eat something that tasted like it was prepared in the ocean and you don’t want to throw it out, wash a raw potato and cut it in half. Put it in the water or soup and let it sit for several minutes. It will absorb a lot of that excess salt, so you don’t have too. Remove the potato, and prepare as usual.

If you noticed it after you cooked noodles and strained the boiling water out already, run noodles under water. Then, put noodles back in pan and add warm water with the potato. It will still help absorb the salt.
