A Sweet Treat Never Hurt Anybody. Stupid Tip of the Day:

A Sweet Treat Never Hurt Anybody

Ice Cream Popsicle Couples Nature

They say that a sweet treat never hurt anybody. In most cases that is true, especially when it comes to generally healthy individuals. However, if you’re craving sweets there might be more to it.

A Little Bit is Good for the Belly

It’s absolutely true that a little sweet treat can help with digestion. Chocolate is acidic, but something cool happens when eating a bit of chocolate after eating. It can churn those stomach acids in your favor and help with digestion. So, if you crave something sweet after eating, you might need natural help digesting your meal.

Sweetness for Your Soul

Sugar gets a pretty bad wrap, but sugar is good for your body’s insulin production, which helps the body store energy. Too much sugar can result in a sudden drop in blood sugar. However, a little sugary snack can have benefits in quick energy boosts.

Just be careful because the higher the sugar rise, the harder the fall.

When to Absolutely Avoid the Sweets

Obviously, avoid sugary things if you have a medical condition where sugar can hurt you. Diabetic comas are real and life-threatening, so be certain to follow your doctor’s orders when it comes to diabetes.

No Sugar When Your Body is Off Balance

Another time to avoid sugar is if you have a yeast infection. Eating sweets can hurt more than you think when your body’s balance is in turmoil. Yeast can affect women and men, internally and externally. It can also be transmitted back and forth through bodily functions. Hence the reason not to share undergarments. It’s best to avoid engaging in any sexual activity until the infection has passed.

Women will have more symptoms than men, so it’s best to know the signs.

Yeast feeds off sugar, and just like out of a scary story, if you feed them, they will grow. Yeast can affect everything in your body if it crosses the line and enters your bloodstream.

So, if you have a yeast infection, be sure not to give into that craving of sugar. By the way, that also includes fruits. Fruits have a high natural sugar content that can feed the yeast.

If you think you have a yeast infection, seek medical treatment and drink plenty of water, and save the desert for another time.

Organizing Your Life To Be Less Chaotic

Organizing Your Life To Be Less Chaotic

If you are having trouble getting your life in order then it may be due to it being chaotic and stressful. You might have grown accustomed to this, but it doesn’t have to be this way. There are certain things you can do to sort your life out and get it organized. Take a look at some of the suggestions and recommendations below.

Sort The Clutter

Something that can look and feel chaotic in your life is clutter laying around your home or office. Clutter can build up over time and get in the way of everything, it is important you take time to sort this out. If you have clutter in the office then you could sort through this and arrange your files and paperwork into piles. These could consist of the things you need to keep and throw away. Arranging your clutter at home means doing the same thing, sort your things into four piles. These are items you want to keep, throw away, donate, and sell.

Know Your Goals

One thing that you need in life is goals. Setting goals doesn’t have to be hard and they can be easy and achievable. Everyday goals could even be as small as getting up and getting dressed for the day. However, you could go bigger and set yourself the goal of having your own home in the long term. In order to keep track of this you could take a look at wall planners

Set A Routine

Next, think about setting a routine. You can use a planner like the ones that we mentioned above to do this. But you might also want to think about using the technology available including productivity apps. These are a great way to stay on target and ensure that you aren’t wasting your time constantly. Once you get into a routine that works, you then just need to stick with it.

Take Time For You

You need some ‘me’ time to avoid issues with your life feeling chaotic. You shouldn’t always be focused on productive goals. It’s vital to get some downtime. This doesn’t have to be massive amounts of time throughout the day. Twenty minutes each day can be more than enough to give you the full recharge that you desperately need.

Rest

Finally, if you want to ensure that your life feels less chaotic and out of control, then it’s vital that you do get the right level of rest. Ideally, you should be aiming for at least eight hours of sleep each night. Most people don’t get anywhere near this and then wonder why they constantly feel exhausted. If you are struggling to sleep at night, try and listen to soothing music before bed or take a warm bath.

We hope this helps you understand some of the key steps that you can take to ensure that you are planning your life in a way that is more effective and will deliver the benefits that you hoped for. Clearing out the mess can reduce stress and avoid a situation where you feel that life is becoming overwhelming or potentially unbearable.

5 Tips For Stress Management

5 Tips For Stress Management

As humans, we aren’t designed to be stressed out for more than a few minutes. Our fight or flight reaction floods our bodies with stress hormones and adrenaline – over time, the adrenaline wears off, but the stress hormone stays.

Stress isn’t meant to be a long-term thing; it is a short-term physiological problem to what should be a short-term thing. So people who find themselves struggling with high-stress levels will need to employ a range of things to help.

TIPP

For those who have tried almost everything to help themselves through stressful situations and still find that they are having big reactions to things, then dbt tipp skills can make a huge difference.

TIPP is short for temperature, intense activity, paced breathing, and progressive muscle relaxation.

This helpful technique doesn’t need to take more than about 20 minutes and can have a hugely positive impact.

Social Media

Unless you only follow content creators that make you feel good, you are likely to be bombarded with unhelpful images. Not only that, but social media can be a hiding place for people and reduce the time spent relaxing in better ways like reading, walking, and being with friends and family.

Consider making your social media notifications silent and only checking at set times of the day.

Creativity

We live in such a busy world that it can be difficult to switch off, and when we start to make that effort – it might be the first time we realize we haven’t been as creative as we want. Creativity comes in many forms; it might not just be drawing – you might like to work with clay, painting, or making other things. But when was the last time that you got creative?

Try to free up a few hours each week for you to get creative and relax. Since you won’t be tuned in to what is happening at work, or anywhere else for that matter, your mind can truly relax for a few hours. Creativity is one of the most powerful tools we have against stress.

Breathing

Have you ever noticed that when you are very stressed out or anxious, your breath can feel juddery and difficult? Learning breathing techniques can ensure that you have the tools to adjust when that happens. Deep breathing is often favored to help reduce stress and anxiety pretty quickly. Taking a slow deep breath for 5 seconds, holding for 2-4, and then breathing out for 5 will help your parasympathetic nervous system kick into action.

Move

Movement is super important to reduce stress levels. It doesn’t matter if you dance, cycle, or walk – what matters is that you have some activity every day. Moving our body reduces the tension we feel in our muscles.

Working out or even just going for a walk will release endorphins and other happy hormones that will help combat stress levels.

Try to head out for a walk at least once a day, and make time for other activities too.

And finally, it is important to work on your general relaxation: Relaxation as a State of Consciousness ⋆ TipsfromTia.com.

5 Quick Ways To Take Care Of Your Car

5 Quick Ways To Take Care Of Your Car

No car owner wants to shell out a lot of money to repair their vehicle regularly. To avoid this, you’ll need to perform at least basic car maintenance. That means knowing how to take care of your car, which doesn’t need to be as complicated as you’d think.

Five quick tips can help you do this. While they’ll seem like some time and effort, it’ll avoid you spending a lot of money on repairs. Prevent the hassle by focusing on a few specific areas.

How To Take Care Of Your Car: 5 Quick Tips

1. Check Tire Pressure

Maintaining your car tires’ pressure is an essential part of making sure you can drive safely. If they’re not properly inflated – or even over-inflated – the car mightn’t brake or handle the way it should, leading to a greater risk of accidents.

You’ll naturally want to avoid that. Maintaining the right tire pressure also avoids the risk of a blowout, increases your fuel efficiency, and gives your tires a longer lifespan. There’s no reason not to keep an eye on this.

Even giving them the right pressure doesn’t take too long, and should be relatively simple to do.

2. Follow The Owner’s Manual

The owner’s manual should be seen as the be-all-and-end-all of owning and looking after your car. You mightn’t be able to look after the basic car maintenance tasks without it. If you’ve lost your manual, there’s no reason to get worried.

You can find a manual for almost every type of vehicle online. If you have a Tahoe, for instance, then check out a Chevy Tahoe owner manual online. Armed with the right manual, you shouldn’t have a problem looking after the basic maintenance tasks you need to do.

3. Check The Oil

Your car needs motor oil to function properly. While it’ll already have the appropriate amount when you buy the car, you’ll need to check it and top it up regularly to make sure everything keeps running smoothly.

The oil’s main job is to lubricate the engine and make sure nothing gets jammed. If there’s no oil, there’s no lubrication, which leads to more and more issues coming up. It could also lead to more combustion in the vehicle, as the motor oil ensures the smooth transfer and absorption of heat.

Check the oil level every few weeks to make sure there’s enough. Top it up when there isn’t.

4. Keep It Clean

Keeping your car clean is often one of the more overlooked parts of owning a vehicle. It’s something you’ll need to do if you want to take pride in it, however. One of the more notable – and obvious – parts of this is not treating your car like it’s a garbage can.

If you have a coffee during your drive, for example, make sure to toss the empty cup into an actual bin. The same can be said for anything else you bring into the car. It’s also worth washing the outside of your car regularly.

Tree sap, bird poop, and similar things can all eat away at your paint over time. Prevent this by giving it a deep clean every few weeks. Even taking it to a car wash can be recommended.

5. Change The Air Filter

Your air filter could be overlooked when you’re taking care of your car. That’s why it often ends up causing issues in time. You’ll need to change your air filter regularly to avoid this. While that can vary depending on the air quality where you live, it’s recommended you change it every 12,000 miles.

Doing this increases your fuel efficiency, reduces emissions, and prolongs your engine’s lifespan. You shouldn’t need to spend too much time and effort on this, as it’s one of the easier car maintenance tasks to look after.

It only takes a few simple steps, provided you already know where the air filter is.

How To Take Care Of Your Car: Wrapping Up

Nobody wants to deal with regularly repairing their car. It not only wastes a lot of time, but you’ll end up spending a significant amount of money on them. By regularly changing the air filter, checking the oil, and following the owner’s manual’s advice, you can avoid much of this.

With a few other basic car maintenance tips, you can make sure your car is as looked-after as possible. You shouldn’t need to see the mechanic too often once you’ve looked after each of the above.

Save yourself the money and stress by making sure you get all of the above tips done.
