How to choose the best steam cleaner

(and get rid of dust mites)

Have you or someone in your family problems with allergies? If you have, you are probably aware of how important it is to live in a clean environment as that dust mites and dust can trigger the allergic symptoms. Great way to remove allergens from your home is by steam cleaning.

Pic 2Today the market is full of the large selection of steam cleaners in terms of price, and when it comes to models, the most popular are Handheld steam cleaner, steam mop steam cleaner and Cylinder steam cleaner. All of them have some pros and cons, and to choose the right one you need to think about what do you need a steam cleaner for.

Handheld steam cleaner

Handheld steam cleaners cost less than the other two types, they are compact, lightweight and easy to handle. They come with a range of different attachments for cleaning different surfaces.  Don’t expect that you will be able to clean big surfaces with these cleaners like floors or carpets; they are intended for smaller jobs, like cleaning car interiors, grills, around faucets, bathroom or kitchen tiles or removing old stickers. If you are looking for something to help you to get rid of the dust mites, keep looking.

Steam mops

Steam mop is a useful tool to have at home if you have a lot of floors that needs to be kept clean. This is a new generation of mop, that you don’t need a bucket for. They have proven to be the best in cleaning hard floors, but more expensive ones with a higher steam pressure, can even fresh up your carpets or clean the stains from your furniture.

If you need something that can be used not only for cleaning floors, but for cleaning other surfaces there is a solution – 2 in 1 steam mops. These models can be used as mops and as handheld steam cleaners. They come with various selections of attachments suited to different jobs. This means that you wouldn’t have to buy two different types of cleaners in order to clean floors, tiles, windows, grill, kitchen tops and a lot of other stuff.

Cylinder steam cleaner

Most of cylinder steam cleaners will do all the things that handheld steam cleaners and steam mops will do. These cleaners are usually heavier than mops, but the fact that they are on wheels make them easy to move around.

You are probably wondering if there is a good reason to get one of these steam cleaners instead of 2 in 1 steam mops; yes, there are few of them. First of all, they are easier to use, because you wouldn’t have to carry around the water tank on the handle while cleaning. The second reason is their longer steaming time. Cylinder steam cleaners have bigger water tanks and you will be able to clean longer, without turning them off and filling them up. Some can even be filled up as you clean, so you don’t have to turn off the cleaner to keep on going. The fact that cylinder steam cleaners have more power and higher steam pressure than a mop is the last and, for me, the most important reason to choose them. They are great for deep cleaning and excellent choice for removing allergens, because the steam will penetrate deeper into the fabric and kill all the dust mites and other allergens that live there.

Perfect beauty routine for a perfect summer

Nothing can be achieved without some effort and relatively hard work. The same goes for beauty. If you want to shine like the sun during summer and feel confident in your own skin, it is time to take the matter in your own hands and start loving your body enough to make it ready for the hot summer days. Think of a beauty routine that would work the best for you, stick to it and welcome summer without fear and worry to show your skin.

Fitness and diet

Before you start thinking about many different creams and lotions you can buy hoping that they would make you beautiful, you have to work on your looks from the inside as well. Start eating better. Change up your diet so that you can include seasonal fruits and veggies that are full of vitamins and make the skin healthier. Also, cut the fatty and high-calorie foods. These can only make you feel bloated and tired while there is a possibility of gaining weight as well. Moreover, find the time to exercise every day. You do not have to go big from the start. Simple exercises in the beginning for 15 to 20 minutes a day will be just enough to firm your skin and make your joints more flexible.

Remove dead skin cells

Every once in a while you need to exfoliate your body and face. This will help you get rid of dead skin cells meaning that your skin will become smoother, it will absorb products from creams and lotions better and the scrubbing movements will boost the blood circulation which will result in a more radiant skin tone and minimized body cellulite. It is important not to overdo this step since it can also damage the skin and make it more sensitive and irritated. Once or twice a week is just enough.

Always wear a sunscreen

Red, patchy and sun burnt skin is not only unpleasant to the eye but it is also very unhealthy. Therefore make sure to always wear a sunscreen when you go out in the summer. Choose a perfect sunscreen for your face and skin type as well as one for the whole body. It will protect you from harmful sun rays while at the same time provide conditions for even and healthy tanning.

Stay away from alcohol

Saying that you should stay away from alcohol does not mean that you are not allowed to relax with a cool cocktail on a hot summer evening. Actually, this refers to alcohol found in different body lotions and especially perfumes and body mists. During the day, under the influence of sun, places on your skin sprayed with alcohol can become stained so make sure to avoid perfumes during the day and check the ingredient list for other products you use.

Face care

Make sure that your face is well hydrated. Applying a moisturizer before makeup is advisable if you want to avoid patchiness and dry skin. For example, vitamin C serum is a great choice for many skin types since it is absorbed quickly, does not leave a greasy residue on the surface and also protects the skin from pigmentation spots. Moreover, opt for waterproof makeup and do not go overboard with application. A BB cream, concealer, setting powder and waterproof mascara is basically all you need but you can also spice things up with some color according to your own tastes.

With summer just around the corner there is no time to lose. Start taking care of yourself properly and once you feel the joy of being satisfied with your fresh and fit summer look you will probably adopt this kind of healthy lifestyle throughout the year. Why look great only for a season when you can be fabulous all the time?

Why Woman Get Uncomfortable. Thoughts of Liam M. (MA-Language)

By Tia Cristy

Liam McRae from ‘Ask the Naturals’ is what some may call a professional dating guru or pickup artist. But ‘The Naturals’ and Liam prefer the title, Social Freedom Coach.

Liam’s style is mature in the world of casual sex. Although I speak of monogamy in relationships, Liam tells stories of the infamous One Night Stand.

Either way, Liam and I could both agree on Sexual Health and it’s importance physically and mentally. This video is a great insight for men to see the reasons they may not think of when it comes to a woman’s indecision about being physical, although she may be attracted to you. Safety and comfort is her number one priority.

The first tip for beautiful hands and nails is to use a moisturizing cream regularly and at least 4 times in a day. You should always try to clean your hands including nails before bedtime and apply a suitable moisturizing cream. And if you possess dry hands then you need to take some extra care. Extremely dry hands need to be moistened more often.

Hands lose their lipids due to frequent washing and being exposed to hard water. So you must select a cream for your hands that essentially contain natural ingredients so as to compensate for the loss of lipids. During winter time, you must use hands creams that have extra nutrition and contain more oiling substances like glycerin, paraffin, Vaseline, silicon, sunflower oil, or ceramids. You can get extra benefits if your hand creams also contain anti-aging elements. This way you will be able to delay the aging of your hands too!

Another useful tip for people, who have rough palms, is to massage their palms with a mixture of sugar and any oil mixed in equal proportion. If you have rough palms then you can massage your palms with this mixture for about a minute. Leave it for about 10 minutes and then rinse off with water.

It may include sweeping up your house and cleaning your lawn, gardening, etc. You should also protect your hands from an abrupt change in temperature, especially during the winter time.

In order to get beautiful nails, you must choose a product that contains stuffs and extracts of horse hair. These products can provide additional strength to your nails. If you have got stains on your nails then you can remove these stains by treating them with a mixture prepared by adding some lemon juice in water. You can also treat your nails every alternate day with olive oil to keep them strong and healthy. Avoid cutting your nail cuticles and file your nails periodically in an appropriate way.

Safe Exercising After Plastic Surgery. By Guest Blogger, Diana S.

Safe Exercising After Plastic Surgery

Indulging in regular physical activity is known to hold many health benefits when it comes to both physical and mental health of people. Not only does implementing a fitness routine help maintain ideal weight, but studies have shown that just 30 minutes of fitness daily can help protect from serious health issues like heart diseases and strokes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, obesity and regulate mental conditions like depression and reduce stress levels.

Exercising after Surgery

Undergoing any kind of surgery, even an aesthetical treatment requires a specific downtime so the body would be able to heal properly. This is why rushing into a specific training regime right out of surgery is not considered a wise idea. Depending on the type of the procedure and its complexity, patients must be careful when starting their exercise regime again. Overall, it is not recommend for patients to indulge in any physical activity at least 48 hours after the procedure has taken place. The best way to start again with the usual fitness regime is to gradually increase the activity levels throughout the first few weeks of the recovery process. Depending on the procedure, it usually takes a few weeks to regain the energy lost during the healing process. For those eager to start their training routines, doctors recommend indulging in some light cardio like a slow-pace walk or slowly cycling on a stationary bike.

Exercising After a Face-Lift

image 2(5)While the recovery time varies among patients, according to doctors at Chicago Plastic Surgery, patients generally make a full recovery after about two weeks. During the first few days, patients feel a fair amount of pain and discomfort and it is really important to say stationary during this period and to rest in order to regain their energy. In the next few days it is recommended to start implementing some light activities like mild stretching, doing dishes and dusting, but you should refrain from any vigorous physical activity. Stretching your muscles is really important as you want to avoid muscle atrophy, but safety always comes first and that is why it is recommended to rely on isometric exercises at first. After a week or so, after you have removed your stiches you will be able to gradually increase your activity levels by taking longer walks or some more demanding exercises. Remember to use ice packs to reduce swelling and not to spend too much time outdoors, especially during summer time as you must avoid direct sunlight at least some time after the surgery.

Exercising After a Tummy Tuck

image 3(3)Because of the complexity of the procedure and the area where it is performed, patients who undergo a tummy tuck cannot expect to return to their regular fitness activities at least six weeks after the surgery. After the surgery has taken place, patients are advised to take short strolls around the house every day without any help for getting in or out of bed. This will help strengthen the weakened muscles right after the surgery and help keep you active. Short walks around the neighbourhood should be the only physical activity at least for the first four weeks of recovery. After this, some low impact cardio can be implemented into your routine. One month after the procedure you might begin with some upper body and leg strengthening exercises but should avoid those exercises that strictly target the abdominal muscles. Once your physician gives you clearance and you feel like your abdominal muscles are ready you might slowly start getting back to your regular fitness activities.

image 4(4)While regular fitness activity benefits you in many ways, starting a training session before your body has healed completely can only make things worse. This is why professionals that perform plastic surgery in Sydney recommend taking things slowly and keeping in mind that everybody heals at their own pace and that you should never push yourself over the limits.
