Those who are new at bodybuilding aim to get as big as possible; huge slabs of muscle mass, wardrobe that suddenly becomes too tight, and looks of friends filled with respect and even awe for your new looks. Because this is something you achieve after a long time of intense training, you begin to understand that there is more than just impressive muscle mass at stake in bodybuilding and proportion, strength, shape and health.

Forget about the final result

As silly as this may sound, understand this: focusing on the final result will have you overlooking those great little things that happen along the way, and it may even leave you disappointed. Set more minor goals instead, it will make you strive to accomplish those and fill you with pride and dedication. Specific actions you have told yourself you have to complete will make it easier for you to form healthy habits of going to the gym and clean eating than only looking to see whether you’ve lost your stomach after three gym sessions.

Stimulate muscle growth

There are three ways you can make your muscles grow bigger, but the best results come to those who combine them effectively. Cellular fatigue means that you will be pushing muscle fibers to repeat certain exercises until they can move no more. Muscle damage will gave you damaging our muscles with high levels of tension, after which you need to rest and eat the right food, and your body will grow new fibers to deal with future stimuli better. The third and the most important method is to progressively burden your muscles with more and more weights.

Weight gain doesn’t mean muscle growth

Weight gain is just that – gaining weight, if you are not careful enough in a long run, and if you work out the right way, gaining weight is the result of putting on more muscle mass, but you have to approach the subject carefully. It is difficult to achieve muscle growth, especially if you’re the ‘skinny type’ and have problems putting on any weight, let alone muscle mass. People who have problems putting on weight often have the wrong approach altogether – eating pretty much anything, forgetting about counting calories (the more the better, you’d say), not training intensely enough; all this leads to the wrong kind of weight you’ll be putting on. Nobody wants to put on fat, not even super skinny people.

Testosterone is one of the most important hormones in an organism, and for those who are looking for effective ways to get more muscle, perhaps the most important there is. This hormone is in charge of muscle growth, and no wonder an average person is looking for a testosterone booster and doing research about different ways to raise testosterone levels in order to get the best results. What is important here is to note that not even steroids can miraculously increase the amount of muscle you can build, but for people looking for all the help they can get, it is still significant. Make sure you monitor the dosages, and consult an expert in order to get the best results.

Once you decide to hit the gym, you should keep in mind the following: it is not just about the looks; there is a lot more than meets the eye here. Superior strength, overall health, and strict discipline are the basis for great looks, and once you respect the rules and go slowly, you will understand that gym is not the means to get to your goal: it is a lifestyle.

Back to school- few ideas to “borrow†from teenagers

Years ago you were a cheerful teenager with passion for energy and party time, and now when you’re an adult version of yourself with lovely family and comfy house, you sometimes find yourself longing for good old times of constant fun and nonchalant lifestyle. It’s not that your “totally family man†life is less interesting and enjoying, but it’s about seeing your teenage kids living the life to the fullest and you being nostalgic about the time when you looked on the world through the pink eyeglasses. Well, if this looks like something going through your head these days, it is perfect time to evoke your high school memories by trying again cool teenage adventures:

Stay young at heart

While you’re relaxing in your comfy backyard armchair, go back to the times when you and your friends had a high school rock band and every weekend was only about gathering together, playing good old rock n’ roll hits and having hilarious party time. Instead of being lethargic and dejected, why wouldn’t you give a buzz to couple of your high-school mates and suggest them re-establishing of your old rock band. Wipe the dust from your old-school guitar, agree weekend “rocking sessions†and feel how the adrenalin warms up your blood again. Even after you’ve become a parent, don’t forget to keep your inner child as well.

Well, yes, you’ll invest a bit more money into this “teen-spirited†project, but when you sit into your laid-back -style cabriolet, turn the music on and feel the breeze in your hair, you won’t regret a single penny you spent on it. Give yourself 5 minutes of high-school fame, recall irresistible teenage vibe and hit the roads, Jack!

Camp beside the lake

Gather your friends and organize relishing weekend camping beside the lake, just like you did during your high-school summer holidays, with campfire, barbequing and swimming included. It’s never late to remind your wife on how she felt in love with you, and long walks alongside the lake, lovely moments beneath stunning sunset are just perfect opportunities for that.

Brighten up your life

Instead of letting your days pass in monotony and routine, better enter more light into your life and feel the charms of afternoon sun by spending more time outside. You can let the sun embrace your living space even when you’re inside, so while considering replacing the windows with retrofit double glazing in order to get more light and refreshed ambient, think like an adult, not a teenager.

Forget about worries

Worries are only causing you to get older faster, so forget about them for a while and live just for the moment. Why wouldn’t you do the first silly thing which comes to your mind? Paragliding – why not? If you think out, it’s better to pay for adventure which will realize your dreams and bring the joy into your life, than gambling the money in the casino – although even that has certain charms, as long as you’re not overdoing it.

Even though it was said so many times before, but regardless how many years you have- remember that life is short and it’s never too late to live it to the fullest even if it means reviving your teenage self.

How pets make your kids happier. By Guest Blogger Emma L.

How pets make your kids happier

01

Children can easily get carried away by the idea of owning a pet, somebody sweet, furry, and adorable to play and cuddle with. However, when it comes to pets, there is more than just puffy tails and pretty eyes. Owning one is a great responsibility which your child should be aware of. Still, pet will teach your child many important things, and will bring immense joy in their life.

Pets make them healthier

When babies grow up with a pet, they are less likely to suffer from allergies. Studies have shown that by the time they reach six, the risk of getting allergic reaction to house dust and hay fever is reduced by incredible 75 per cent. In addition, doctors believe that children who are often licked by cats and dogs are early exposed to bugs which live in pets’ mouths and this exposure will protect them in future. Not just that, but children who have pets often spend more time outside, especially dog owners who have to walk their dogs daily. Exposure to fresh air and sun will only do good for your child.

Pets make them emotionally stable

Growing up is tough, and every obstacle and minor problem you encounter seem like an enormous mountain before you and you feel like you are helpless and have no clue how to overcome it. In tough times, children are more likely to turn to their pets for comfort, and sharing sadness or confusion with their furry friend will make them feel much better. In addition, children who have strong and healthy relationship with their pets are more likely to be helpful, and share everything with their peers.

Pets teach them responsibility

It is not just about cleaning up after them, bathing them, and making sure they don’t have fleas, but it is about other things as well. Your child will learn to take care of needs of others: if your cat has sick kidneys or allergies, they will buy special food and water for them; royal canine prescription for healthy joints and bones for their dog; special kinds of seeds for their bunny, and special meat for their ferrets. Your child will learn responsibility and generosity, and you will be proud when you see them taking their pet to the vet and taking special care of them if they happen to be sick.

No more anxiety and fear

Cuddling their four-legged friend will make child feel less scared and less alone when they’re insecure. Sometimes it is difficult for children to open up and talk about what bothers them, but when it comes to pets, they will know that their secrets are safe and that their pets will not judge them. Moreover, those who are only just learning how to read will be far more comfortable reading to a pet than to somebody else, because cats and dogs will listen carefully and not laugh at them even if they make a mistake.

Clearly, benefits of owning a pet are numerous, and if they have one, your child will grow up to be kind, responsible, and generous adult. Their childhood will be happier and they will learn what unconditional love and devotion are like, when they see the joy their furry friends greet them with every single day.
