Want longer lashes? I tried this all natural lash therapy by Green Esthetics.
I was skeptical at first to try anything on my eye lashes. They’ve always been a good length, but have changed over the years. I didn’t want something that would thicken them up while I was using it and then thin them out once I stopped. I did my research on the natural ingredients found in the product with all the vitamins and minerals mixed with essential oils, they all have positive results in growing lashes. So with only a little apprehension now, I tried it. And what happened? Longer lashes!
I took a break from using the product for a month to see what would happen. Seriously, no change from the thickness that have developed.
Sound too good to be true? Well here’s a chance to try it yourself for free. TipsfromTia.com and GreenEsthetics.com are giving away a full size bottle of Longer Lash (valued at $65) to one lucky winner.

Anyone who has dealt with acne knows just how stubborn it can be. In most cases, topical treatments will suffice to keep acne in check, but when thinking about this issue more deeply, we can’t help but wonder why we get acne in the first place. Does our skin have an evolutionary flaw of which it can’t seem to manage puberty? This is why a lot of people blame modern diets as the culprit of this predominantly western problem. In fact, scientists have pointed out an increase in acne in communities that transitioned from rural to urban areas, and when they were introduced to western diets. For this reason, many dermatologists give dietary recommendations to acne sufferers. Here is a list of the types of foods to avoid, and what to include, if you want to have clear skin:
Acne and carbs
A high glycemic diet is known to cause insulin resistance, but what does this have to do with acne? Well, high insulin levels seem to increase the number of growth hormones. These growth hormones can speed cell and sebum production, which ultimately can lead to clogged pores. Western diets mainly consist of refined grains and are high in refined sugars, which can increase blood sugar levels. Healthier alternatives to this kind of diet include eating whole grains and avoiding sweets. This will not only lower your blood sugar levels but also keep your skin clear.
Acne and dairy
According to scientific research, milk can also cause high blood sugar levels, and the presence of bovine hormones in milk is also linked to acne flares. Hormonal issues are often addressed in acne treatments, so avoiding animal hormones might prove to be useful. The fat percentage in milk seems to play no role in acne development. What is even more surprising is skim milk, in one particular study, was more often associated with acne development in comparison to regular milk. It seems that if you want to keep acne at bay, you won’t be able to rely on milk for your daily dose of protein and calcium. Eliminating certain foods from your diet is part of a lot of acne treatments.
Omega-3 fatty acids
Scientists have pointed out that most western diets are poor in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for cardiovascular health, but they can also create a luminous skin. Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties, which of course might help with acne as acne is an inflammatory disease. Furthermore, a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids helps in managing stress and anxiety, another major cause of acne. The best way to get these healthy fatty acids is by introducing seafood to your daily diet. Flaxseeds are also rich in omega-3 acids, so make sure to add these to your dishes. Another popular option to get the daily dose of omega-3s is by taking dietary supplements, like fish oil.
Vitamins and minerals
Vitamin A has antioxidant properties: it helps in cell regeneration and boosts the immune system. A lot of people turn to skin peels for treating acne, and vitamin A can help in regenerating the skin treated with skin peels. You’ll find vitamin A in many reddish colored fruits and vegetables such as carrots, squash, and apricots. Vitamin E is another powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. The mineral zinc is a common topical acne treatment due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects. You’ll also find it generally in diaper and healing creams. Zinc can also be taken as a dietary supplement to help heal inflammations in the body. It is naturally abundant in oysters and beef, or if you’re a vegetarian, in cashews, chickpeas, and oatmeal.
If you want to be sure to keep your acne under control, check to see if your dietary habits might be causing the problem. You’ll find great relief once your skin can regulate itself without the help of cosmetic products. Although scientists are still keeping the question of acne and diet open, we can rely on other people’s experiences in treating acne with dietary changes. After all, if dietary habits show on our overall health, why wouldn’t it show on our skin as well?

The moment when you find out that you are expecting a baby is a true life changer – and it definitely marks the beginning of the whole new part of it. Pregnancy is often a true roller coaster of emotions, however, it is definitely one of the most beautiful and blessed parts of any woman’s life. It carries a lot of responsibility, and you will have to set up a new list of priorities. Here are five of them which are essential when your baby is on its way.
Choose a Reliable Doctor
Having a clear picture of what you want out of your pregnancy will help you sort out your priorities when it comes to choosing a reliable doctor. Find out whether you are at risk of any complications because of diabetes, high blood pressure, or obesity. Decide where you would like to deliver – at a hospital, or maybe at home? Also, take into consideration natural vs. medicated birth, and choose what you think is best for you. Once you have answered these questions, start looking for a doctor to guide you through your pregnancy.
Create a Parent Budget

You should be aware of the fact that your budget will drastically change when the baby arrives, so it is essential that you create a parent budget. Write down the amount of money that is coming in and going out each month, and include things like childcare, diapers, toys, formula, and so on. Make sure that you have included all the potential costs, so that you can run your household without troubles.
Purchase Necessary Nursery Equipment
There are numerous ways to save some money on baby items, and one of them is certainly through discount stores. No matter what, there is a list of essential nursery equipment that needs to be purchased before your baby arrives. Some of the required items are federally approved car seat, bottles and brushes for cleaning them, changing table, as well as nursing bras. A diaper bag is also required, and it has to be stacked with several diapers, baby wipes, receiving blanket, plastic bag for soiled diapers, and clean clothes.
Get a Crib
Besides all the aforementioned equipment, a crib is another element that needs to be purchased before giving birth. If you decide to assemble it by yourself, make sure that a manual is used. If there are any pieces left when you are done – do it again until the crib is steady, because it is the only way of doing it right. Also, make sure that it is low enough to the ground, so that you can easily reach in and get baby out with ease. Some cribs can even transform into toddler or full-size beds later on, so it is good to have that convertible option in mind, too.
Prepare Everything in Advance

Once the crib is successfully assembled, parents-to-be should make their home safe for their future child. Plug-ins for electrical outlets are located at the perfect height to draw the attention of a curious baby, which can be very dangerous for it. This is exactly why you should get special plastic plates which can be placed over outlet covers, which will force the user to slide it over in order to access the power supply – babies cannot do that. Also, there should always be hot water in your home, in order to establish an everyday bathing routine. For that reason, make sure that all hot water problems are solved.
As you can see, there are many things that need to be taken care of when your baby is on its way. Sorting out priorities is one of the best ways to handle all the situations without stress, so make sure that you have that covered. Predict potential problems, solve them in advance, and enjoy the most beautiful days of your life.

Spring cleaning is a must if a person likes to live in a nice environment. Many people like to do home cleaning, and really get into the job. Making house cleaning easier is something most anyone would like to know.
One way to go about this is to have a cleaning company help you – it is the most expensive way and the one that will save you the most time. But doing it yourself will mean less expenses. All you need is the right cleaning tools, and products. With the right cleaning agents a deep cleaning can be achieved. A person can purchase cheap cleaners at stores that sell discount products.
Get Help
When doing a really deep cleaning of a home one should have a helper. This will make moving things around to really get to the hard to reach places easier. When the good weather comes spring cleaning can be a bit fun if it is done right. Ask your spouse, or a friend, or even your kids to come around and help you a bit in your struggles with the spring cleaning. With more people on the job, the whole process will go down much quicker and way easier.
Cleaner for the Right Kind of Clean
A good house cleaning with proper cleaners often gets the best results. Some things may need bleached, and other things may need sanitized. The kitchen, and bathroom are often the worst areas for dirt. These are also areas that should be kept the cleanest. When doing floors it is recommended to give the floor a rinse with just water and a mop. This will remove all possible toxic cleaning agents which are not good to get on ones skin.
Protect Your Hands and Health
Showers, sinks, and toilet areas are places no one like to clean. Get a good pair of water proof gloves, and really get in and scrub these areas. Make sure that toilet area cleaning products are not used in areas where food preparation is done. Use green cleaners so that you do not introduce a lot of toxins in your home – that will make for a much healthier living.

Your home is your sanctuary – unless you are allergic to it. Allergens are sneaky and can easily infiltrate your home without you even realizing it, until you start sneezing. Various things can trigger your allergies, such as dust, mould, mites and pet dander. You need do the cleaning in all the rooms in order to restore the sneeze-free peace of your home. Let’s see what you can do in each room.
Allergies in the Bedroom
Since the dust mites make the bedroom the most allergy-sensitive room, your bed, mattress and pillows should be covered with mites-proof covers. Sheets, pillowcases and blankets should be washed at least once a week in the water heated to 130 F (54 C). On your floors, there should be no carpets and rugs; use linoleum or hardwood flooring which are easy to clean and vacuum at least once a week. Also, your curtains should be washable and made of cotton or synthetic fabric. All the pieces of furniture should be easy to wash and dust off, such as furniture made of wood, plastic, metal or leather. Your windows should be cleaned of mould and condensation, and rely on AC during the pollen season. Additionally, your pets should stay out of your bedroom if they move freely around the house.
Allergy Control in the Family and Play Rooms
These two rooms are not as prone to allergies as a bedroom, but it is nice to prevent any sneezing there, too. Basically, similar rules are applicable here. Floors should not be covered with thick rugs, and should be vacuumed once a week with a cleaner that has HEPA filter. Replace all the upholstered furniture with one made of leather, wood, metal or plastic. Windows should be closed and mould-free, and if you have any indoor plants, find a new home for them. If you have a fireplace, avoid using them during allergy season because smoke and gasses can only make respiratory allergies worse. Also, if the weather permits, you should keep your pets outside. If you think that you cannot do all this work alone, you can rely on house cleaning professionals in North Sydney and get the whole house allergy-free. Since thorough and professional cleaning could take some time, it is the best for you and your family to stay over at the hotel for those few days and get away from all the dust and allergens.
Controlling Allergens in the Kitchen and Bathroom
It is important to keep your kitchen clean, in order not to attract any cockroaches which can also trigger your allergies. All the food should be stored in sealed containers, and garbage cans should always be covered and regularly emptied. Dishes should be washed daily, and to remove any mould and moisture, wipe the sink, faucets and countertops. Keep the refrigerator clean, wipe off excess moist to prevent mould and never keep food that is out of date. Bathroom is the number one place that attracts mould, so make sure to have proper ventilation to reduce moisture. Never use any rugs in there, the best option for flooring are always tiles. Make sure that the plumbing works properly and thoroughly scrub bathtub, shower, sink and toilet with bleach.
Solutions for the Whole House
The best solution for keeping the allergens out of your house is to keep it clean and dry. The average temperature in your home should be between 68 F (20 C) and 72 F (22 C), and the humidity should not be higher than 50 percent. Control the pests with traps or hire professional exterminators and regularly vacuum carpets and scrub hard surfaces. During hot weather you should keep the windows closed in order to prevent condensation. Rely on air conditioning and remove any non-washable materials you have in your house, such as thick carpets. Also, check your roof and ceiling for any leaks. Do not allow smoking anywhere in your house and acquire a weekly cleaning routine.
Now you know how to keep any room in your house free from allergens. Remember to keep your home clutter-free and dry, and you will not have any problems with your allergies.
