Feminine Issues Of A Modern Kind

Feminine Issues Of A Modern Kind

Be honest, women; we struggle for our beauty. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. It isn’t easy to be preened and perfect. In fact, a lot of hard work often goes into the effort. And, the battle never ends. The fight only intensifies as the signs of age threaten to come to the fore.

But, many of us pay the price. After years of rigorous routines, it isn’t unusual for them to start taking their toll on our bodies. And, when they do, it can become harder and harder to achieve the image we want. It’s a vicious cycle. And, to help you get off the ride, we’re going to look at a few of the main issues, and how you can get around them.

How is your hair?

Our hair is one of the first things to suffer, and it’s no surprise. While dying hair was once the reserve of those fighting the greys, most of us now turn to this past-time for beauty purposes. It’s just stylish to opt for unnatural colors, such as red and purple. And, as if exposing our hair to toxic chemicals wasn’t enough, we then insist on burning them into place each day. In short; we don’t treat our hair kindly. The good news is, there are easy ways to fix this. The best thing about hair is that it grows all the time. As such, no damage should be permanent. Give your hair time to heal and let your natural color grow out, or dye less often. Think, too, about using something like a keratin shampoo. These work to repair the hair, and also help it appear straight. You can read more about the best keratin options here. In short, though; the right choice could potentially save you having to straighten at all.

Not so much fun in the sun

Of course, the damage doesn’t end there. Many of us also fall foul to the idea that tanned skin is healthy skin. How many times in your lifetime have you described a tan as a ‘healthy glow’? Well, it’s time to think again. In reality, a tan is quite the opposite to healthy. Effectively, it means you’ve cooked your skin. Take a moment to think about that. It isn’t good! Imagine the damage that can do in the long-term. Most of us already know that time spent in the sun can drastically age our skin. What less of us realize is how severe that damage can be.

To ensure fun in the sun doesn’t prematurely age your skin, it’s important to take action. For one, reduce your time spent ‘tanning’ as much as you can bear. If you can go without it altogether, your skin will thank you for it. Instead, opt for some of the many tanning creams on the market which achieve the image without the risk. Think, too, about addressing the damage you’ve already done with your skin care. Regular use of moisturizing products can make a huge difference.

Let’s talk organic skin care: things you should know

Let’s talk organic skin care: things you should know

Just because something says natural doesn’t necessarily mean it’s really organic or good for your skin. Maybe you have noticed that after switching from one “natural†product to another there can be a lot of difference on the look of your skin. After months or even years of being unsure what the sources of your skin imperfections are, it is about time to alter your skin care and start using organic instead. And now, you probably think what to do first. Well, go through these tips and tricks that will help you with taking that first crucial step.

Find out what is your skin type

It is very important to know your skin type before choosing your skin care. Don’t just buy what you find visually appealing, or what you think smells good because it may damage your skin and leave you with consequences that will show later on. It is normal for your skin to get thinner as years go by, with tendency to become wrinkled, but why not slow the process?

With the right preparation, you can achieve bloomy looking skin that glows and postpone the aging process. Read the labels; find organic products that are made for your exact skin type to keep it elastic, healthy and nourished. It is time to change the way you took care of your face and body, to get rid of all the bad habits and start treating your skin the right way.

Try DIY

There are tons of DIY skin care alternatives that you can apply to your face and body to get the results you want. There are recipes you can make with various fruits and vegetables that can be helpful not only for hydrating but for exfoliating too. Exfoliation is very important because that way you remove dead skin cells and as a result, get smoother skin while keeping it fresh and clean. Applying homemade apricot face scrub is the best way to exfoliate your skin because of the abrasive texture provided by the fruit itself. Try using high-quality honey to make face mask since honey is natural antibacterial and it also hydrates and calms the skin.

Read everything

Be sure that you have read everything written on a cosmetic product before purchasing it. Educate yourself about the impact different chemicals have on your skin, such as parabens or phthalates. Many researches show that using products consisting aluminum can severely damage your health so think about the consequences. Check the list of ingredients on the products you are using now and replace them with organic chemical-free cosmetics to prevent skin irritation or allergic reaction. Think in advance to help your skin retain its elasticity and freshness. So be smart, choose your organic skincare products wisely and start making changes. Help your skin look beautiful, be smooth and stay healthy.

Avoid strong perfumed products

Avoid purchasing perfumed cosmetics since it is more likely to be filled with harmful chemicals. It can irritate your skin or make it look unappealing. Natural organic skin care usually have mild smell, mostly you can recognize it as scent of natural ingredients. If you really need your cosmetic to be fragranced, try combining it with essential oils for the extra touch of aroma. For example, using tea tree oil not only will make your skin smell good but also make it healthy and reduce the amount of acne. Not to mention you can use it on your hair as well to make it stronger and give it shiny look.

Now that you know what, why and how to do it, there are no more excuses. Think about the results and the impact switching to organic cosmetics will have on your skin, and how good will it make you feel. As we all know – if your skin is clean and you truly feel beautiful you will indeed be in a good mood, ready to seize the day!

Most Coveted Celebrity Body Parts

According to statistics, 17.1 million cosmetic procedures were performed back in 2016. From breast augmentation, through liposuction, nose reshaping and eyelid surgery, to facelifts and tummy tucks, people are turning to plastic surgery more often every year, when they don’t feel happy with their body. However, they don’t just look for a random nose reshaping or breast augmentation, but for specific body parts of actors, singers, or starlets. From Matthew McConaughey’s abs to Madonna’s cheekbones, people hope to look like their favourite celebrity more and more each day.

Nose

The nose is one of the most prominent facial features, and it makes a lot of difference to a person’s looks. A big nose isn’t flattering, while a small one can make some other features of face anatomy more noticeable and put the entire face in disproportion. On the other hand, the size doesn’t have to be an issue every time. Aside from being too big or too small, someone might have a crooked nose, and surgery can be the only way to make it straight and proportional. Natalie Portman, Emma Stone and Nicole Kidman are just some of the celebrities whose noses seem to be the most wanted among the patients, because they’re perfectly proportional.

Lips

The facial anatomy can appear entirely different with thin lips than it can with a full pout. Thin lips give out an impression of a less sexy appearance, which happens to be the main reason for people all over the world to undergo a lip injection procedure. Angelina Jolie’s lips are definitely the most wanted among patients, since they are perfectly full and balanced with the plump bottom lip and a slightly thinner upper lip, that shape the flawless pout.

Buttocks

Many women yearn for a nicely rounded and well-shaped backside, since most of them didn’t have the luck to be born with one. While some of them have tried working out and didn’t reach their goal, others skipped that step and turned immediately to a professional to request a procedure that will give them the perfectly shaped buttocks. Beyoncé’s gluteus has been the synonym for a well-shaped bootie, and lately, Kim Kardashian’s has been a real competition, with more women wanting precisely the backside of this controversial starlet.

Abs

Nicely shaped abs are one of the most attractive features of the human anatomy. This is especially true for men, who are eager to show off a good-looking six-pack. Matthew McConaughey’s and Channing Tatum’s abs are the most wanted among men, according to plastic surgeons. Thanks to a non-invasive body sculpting procedure, the patients can quickly reach their goal. After the fat cells are frozen and eliminated with the cooling procedure, they’re forever gone from their tummy, offering a perfect figure, that will need only a little bit of exercise to look as good as Matthew’s or Channing’s.

Cheekbones

Years certainly can’t do a thing to this megastar, because as the time goes by, people don’t cease to strive for having exactly the same cheekbones as Madonna. They’re perfectly high, which can make a person look regal, while they add a dose of youthfulness as well.

From cheekbones, through abs and buttocks, to a symmetrical nose and perfect lips, people try to look more like celebrities every day, by wanting some of their body features. However, sometimes, it takes more than just a visit to the plastic surgeon to reach the goal. Remember that recoveries from some surgeries take a lot of time, so make sure you always consult with the doctor before you decide to go under the knife.

Protect your Skin this Winter & Look Beautiful with Simple Beauty Tricks

Out of all the seasons, I personally love Winter season. Winter’s makes me feel fresh. Having a cup of hot beverages makes my day perfect. But with winter coming along, since my skin is dry it makes me worried too. Winter’s makes my skin chapped, cracked, redness, itchiness and what not.

There are various ways we can deal with it. Either by using cosmetics or by opting for home remedies. We can pamper our skin and make it healthy by moisturizing and prevent skin from further damage. Here are some beauty tips for your skin during winter.

8 Winter Care Tips for Skin

Moisturising

Moisturising your skin as when possible is one of the best remedies to deal with dryness. Apply Olive oil before going to moisturise your skin naturally. You can also use Milk cream, Honey, Yogurt or Aloe vera instead of going for thick cosmetic creams.

Moisturise your face 2 – 3 a day as and when you feel dryness.

Scrubbing

Take 2 ripe bananas and mash them, add a pinch of sugar and honey. Honey helps in moisturising the face naturally. Gently massage your face with this scrub and wash your face.

Another Face scrub that you can make at home is using orange peel and dry it completely in sun. Make a powder of it. Add honey to it and apply the paste on face and massage gently on face.

Instead of Orange peel, you can also opt for Lemon peel.

Toning

Apply tomato on your face and scrub it. This will help in treating uneven skin tone. Another alternative for toning at home is mixing yogurt with orange peel. Place Potato and Cucumber slices on the face can help in lightening of skin, hydrating and detoxifying.

Sunscreen

Yes, you heard it right, there are natural ingredients that act as a sunscreen. Since sun during the winter season is strong you can use Shea butter, Coconut oil, Vitamin E oil, Sesame oil, JoJoba oil, etc as sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Keep your skin glowing by using these natural sunscreens available at home.

Cleansing

If we are using all natural ways to protect our skin during winter then why not cleanse our face naturally. Gently massage with coconut oil on face and leave it for 30s. Take a warm cloth and place it on your face. Keep it for 10-15sec and let the pores open up. Wipe face with a face cloth.

Clean with Lukewarm Water

Since winter’s are cold we loving bathing in hot water. However, it makes us feel good but always remember to wash your face with lukewarm water. This will prevent removing all oil from the skin. Our skin needs some oil as winter’s makes our skin dry.

Healthy Diet

Diet plays a very important role. A healthy diet keeps our skin healthy. Include a lot of vitamin A & E during winter.

Winter Masks

One of the most important is DIY masks for winter to keep skin glowing, attractive and beautiful.
