Stupid Tip of the Day: You Don’t Have to Clean Your Makeup.

What a strange concept for some. But, actually yes, you should clean your makeup. Make up has a shelf life once you start using it. So, to make that shelf life a little longer, you can clean your makeup after using it so bacterias don’t grow as fast or plentiful.

For example, after using your lipstick or liners, take a tissue and wipe the the top. If it’s been awhile since you used a liner or lipstick, wipe with tissue before using.

Use a tissue to wipe compact powders, blushes or eyeshadow; I recommend doing that over the sink or trash can, because it does loosen the top coat of the pressed powder.

For extra cleaning, splash tissue with peroxide, just to make it damp, then, lightly wipe your cosmetics, the peroxide will kill a portion of any yucky things that started to grow, but dissipate quickly, to leave the product un-harmful to you.
