The flu is scary stuff this season. You don’t want to have to move around with a mask on but, you don’t want to get the flu. The flu shot has been recommended, but there is a shortage on the vaccine and not everyone will be able to get one.

The most important thing to keep the flu away, is build the immune system. Keeping up with vitamin C is the best builder for the immune system. Adding in other supplements like Echinacea and  probiotics like L. acidophilus can also be a huge help.

For a few months now, I started taking a daily dose of Apple Cider Vinegar. It has many healing properties. The taste can be strong as first, but once you take it a couple times, you do get over the taste. And, thanks to a recent picture post, a lot of viewers see that it, has been stated apple cider vinegar, wards off the flu.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to use fermented apple cider vinegar. If it doesn’t say fermented, it could just be flavored white vinegar, which does not have the same healing properties.

If white vinegar is all you have in the cupboard, it still has a purpose to fight the flu. White vinegar is great to sanitize your surfaces from the germs. Using rubbing alcohol or peroxide is a great way to clean your space as well. Keep your living and work space’s clean for less chance of picking up viruses.

Be sure to cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. I recommend covering it for your own safety, when you yawn, as well. The flu can be contracted from 6 feet away. So, if you are already symptomatic or have a fever, stay home till you feel better.
