The moment when you find out that you are expecting a baby is a true life changer – and it definitely marks the beginning of the whole new part of it. Pregnancy is often a true roller coaster of emotions, however, it is definitely one of the most beautiful and blessed parts of any woman’s life. It carries a lot of responsibility, and you will have to set up a new list of priorities. Here are five of them which are essential when your baby is on its way.

Choose a Reliable Doctor

Having a clear picture of what you want out of your pregnancy will help you sort out your priorities when it comes to choosing a reliable doctor. Find out whether you are at risk of any complications because of diabetes, high blood pressure, or obesity. Decide where you would like to deliver – at a hospital, or maybe at home? Also, take into consideration natural vs. medicated birth, and choose what you think is best for you. Once you have answered these questions, start looking for a doctor to guide you through your pregnancy.

Create a Parent Budget

You should be aware of the fact that your budget will drastically change when the baby arrives, so it is essential that you create a parent budget. Write down the amount of money that is coming in and going out each month, and include things like childcare, diapers, toys, formula, and so on. Make sure that you have included all the potential costs, so that you can run your household without troubles.

Purchase Necessary Nursery Equipment

There are numerous ways to save some money on baby items, and one of them is certainly through discount stores. No matter what, there is a list of essential nursery equipment that needs to be purchased before your baby arrives. Some of the required items are federally approved car seat, bottles and brushes for cleaning them, changing table, as well as nursing bras. A diaper bag is also required, and it has to be stacked with several diapers, baby wipes, receiving blanket, plastic bag for soiled diapers, and clean clothes.

Get a Crib

Besides all the aforementioned equipment, a crib is another element that needs to be purchased before giving birth. If you decide to assemble it by yourself, make sure that a manual is used. If there are any pieces left when you are done – do it again until the crib is steady, because it is the only way of doing it right. Also, make sure that it is low enough to the ground, so that you can easily reach in and get baby out with ease. Some cribs can even transform into toddler or full-size beds later on, so it is good to have that convertible option in mind, too.

Prepare Everything in Advance

Once the crib is successfully assembled, parents-to-be should make their home safe for their future child. Plug-ins for electrical outlets are located at the perfect height to draw the attention of a curious baby, which can be very dangerous for it. This is exactly why you should get special plastic plates which can be placed over outlet covers, which will force the user to slide it over in order to access the power supply – babies cannot do that. Also, there should always be hot water in your home, in order to establish an everyday bathing routine. For that reason, make sure that all hot water problems are solved.

As you can see, there are many things that need to be taken care of when your baby is on its way. Sorting out priorities is one of the best ways to handle all the situations without stress, so make sure that you have that covered. Predict potential problems, solve them in advance, and enjoy the most beautiful days of your life.

Best clothing choices for big-busted ladies. By Guest Blogger Diana S.

Best clothing choices for big-busted ladies

Even though having large breasts is considered a positive and desirable quality in today’s society, it can also bring some difficulties to ladies who ‘own’ them. This is especially true when it comes to picking flattering clothing bits and pieces. Still, there is always a way to look tasteful, fashionable and trendy no matter what your style is if you stick to some basic rules.

The question of tops

When it comes to finding perfect tops, shirts and sweaters it is important to pay attention to the cut. Most flattering tops for ladies with big bust have fitted waist and the neckline is neither too high nor low. Still, if you really like boxy style tops, you can wear one without problems but simply choose those that fall straight from the bust line and are slightly cropped. Moreover, wearing over-sized T-shirts can also look great if you tuck one part of the shirt in your bottoms. When it comes to tank tops, stick to those with wide straps because straps that are really thin can draw unnecessary attention to your breasts and create a false appearance of a size too small for you. Also, if you really like sweaters at winter time, stick to those that do not fall over your hips because really long woolen sweaters can create more of unwanted bulkiness.

Pants and shorts

Choosing the right bottoms mainly depends on your body shape and not just the size of your bust. Still, wearing overly skinny jeans and tight shorts can create a dis-balance in your overall look so opting for a straight cut pants and jeans and a bit wider shorts is something you might want to try out. If your body type allows you to comfortably wear baggy pants remember to always wear a fitted top and jacket in combination with those because going oversized for your whole look when having big bust will not look flattering for your figure meaning that your effortless and casual look may turn out as a sloppy and lazy one instead.

Skirts and dresses

Again, the length and style of your dresses and skirts should flatter your general body type not just the breast area. This is especially true for skirts. Still, there can be some issues with choosing the right dress. Retro style and wrap dresses are the perfect choice for ladies with big bust. Still, if you find a dress that you really love but due to its perfect fitting in the bust part it is simply too wide in the waist and hip area, you can always try layering and wearing cute belts. Actually, belts can become your primary accessory that you can turn into a really unique personal touch. Moreover, wearing a cardigan or a blouse that you can tie in the front looks great with flowy dresses and does a great job in shifting the attention away from your breasts.

Find the right bra

In general, your clothes will not sit well on your body if you do not wear a bra that fits your breasts and supports them perfectly. A bra that is

too small will squeeze your bust thus creating an unflattering curvy line that is visible over the top while bras that are too big will have edges of their cups sticking out through the top. If you are unsure of your bra size, do not be afraid to ask the staff at the shops for their help.

More permanent solution

Some women experience other more serious issues with big bust which is usually related to back pain and bad posture. If you believe that breast reduction surgery will make your quality of life better do not be reluctant to find all the information about this process that would help you make your decision easier. With proper bra support and appropriate clothing, you will still be able to look as gorgeous as possible.

When buying clothes for yourself always make sure that you try them first and take a good look in the mirror to check if you are completely satisfied with what you see. You can also bring a trusting friend along who can take a better look at you from different angles and give their honest opinion. The most important thing is to have fun and use clothes as an expression of your personality!

Your home is your sanctuary – unless you are allergic to it. Allergens are sneaky and can easily infiltrate your home without you even realizing it, until you start sneezing. Various things can trigger your allergies, such as dust, mould, mites and pet dander. You need do the cleaning in all the rooms in order to restore the sneeze-free peace of your home. Let’s see what you can do in each room.

Allergies in the Bedroom

Since the dust mites make the bedroom the most allergy-sensitive room, your bed, mattress and pillows should be covered with mites-proof covers. Sheets, pillowcases and blankets should be washed at least once a week in the water heated to 130 F (54 C). On your floors, there should be no carpets and rugs; use linoleum or hardwood flooring which are easy to clean and vacuum at least once a week. Also, your curtains should be washable and made of cotton or synthetic fabric. All the pieces of furniture should be easy to wash and dust off, such as furniture made of wood, plastic, metal or leather. Your windows should be cleaned of mould and condensation, and rely on AC during the pollen season. Additionally, your pets should stay out of your bedroom if they move freely around the house.

Allergy Control in the Family and Play Rooms

These two rooms are not as prone to allergies as a bedroom, but it is nice to prevent any sneezing there, too. Basically, similar rules are applicable here. Floors should not be covered with thick rugs, and should be vacuumed once a week with a cleaner that has HEPA filter. Replace all the upholstered furniture with one made of leather, wood, metal or plastic. Windows should be closed and mould-free, and if you have any indoor plants, find a new home for them. If you have a fireplace, avoid using them during allergy season because smoke and gasses can only make respiratory allergies worse. Also, if the weather permits, you should keep your pets outside. If you think that you cannot do all this work alone, you can rely on house cleaning professionals in North Sydney and get the whole house allergy-free. Since thorough and professional cleaning could take some time, it is the best for you and your family to stay over at the hotel for those few days and get away from all the dust and allergens.

Controlling Allergens in the Kitchen and Bathroom

It is important to keep your kitchen clean, in order not to attract any cockroaches which can also trigger your allergies. All the food should be stored in sealed containers, and garbage cans should always be covered and regularly emptied. Dishes should be washed daily, and to remove any mould and moisture, wipe the sink, faucets and countertops. Keep the refrigerator clean, wipe off excess moist to prevent mould and never keep food that is out of date. Bathroom is the number one place that attracts mould, so make sure to have proper ventilation to reduce moisture. Never use any rugs in there, the best option for flooring are always tiles. Make sure that the plumbing works properly and thoroughly scrub bathtub, shower, sink and toilet with bleach.

Solutions for the Whole House
