How Complete Is Your Wardrobe?

How Complete Is Your Wardrobe?

If you are even somewhat interested in looking good, then it is probably likely that you are keen to have a wardrobe full of clothes and accessories that you love, and which you feel you can get a lot of use out of. If you find yourself ever feeling that you could do with a little more in your wardrobe, then the question becomes a matter of what are you missing out on. Actually, that is something that might be quite easy to get to the bottom of. In this article, we are going to look at some of the items that you will probably want in your wardrobe to feel that it is somewhat complete.

Clothes For All Weathers

It’s no use if you only have a decent selection of clothes to wear during summer, or only during winter. Instead, you need to try and make it so that you have plenty of clothes to wear throughout the year and during all kinds of weather. That is not too hard to make sure of as long as you are conscious about it, and you might find that it is actually surprisingly easy to do so. When it comes to a new season, simply look for some new items of clothing for that period. Or you can look at the end of a season for the same time next year – a great way to scoop up items in the sales and save some money.

Useful Little Tools

Much of what you need in a good wardrobe is not clothing at all, or even accessories as such, but actually more like tools which you will find useful in one way or another. That might be a couple of different types of umbrella, for instance, or you might feel that you have a need for shoe horns in your wardrobe. Whatever it might be, these useful little tools are bound to make your life a little easier, and they’re worth thinking about.

Something Fancy

Every now and then, you are going to have to attend some kind of special event. When you do, you want to be able to look the part, and that means that you need to have something fancy to wear for the occasion. If you don’t have anything of the sort in your wardrobe at present, you will find yourself in a last-minute rush to get hold of something just before your next big event, and that is not a situation that anyone wants to find themselves in. So it might be worth going out and treating yourself to something soon, so that you are much more prepared.

A Wild Card

Everyone needs one wild card in their wardrobe, some kind of item of clothing which is only going to be worn every now and then, but which is particularly standout in some way or another. It should be something that not many people can get away with and which suits you particularly, and which you can wear when you really want to impress. That is a great thing to have in your wardrobe.

Confidence- Boosting Beauty Tips

Confidence- Boosting Beauty Tips

The great thing about beauty products and treatments is they can really increase your confidence. Sometimes a good hair day and a fresh set of nails is all you need to give you a boost, make you feel put together and like you can tackle the world. If you’re experiencing any of the following common complaints, here’s how you can deal with them and boost your confidence.

Dark Circles and Puffy Eyes

Have you ever woken up in the morning looking like you’d done ten round with Mike Tyson? Busy schedules and poor sleep habits mean that most of us don’t get the sleep we need, and it’s quick to show in our faces. If you don’t want your eyes to give you away, there are plenty of things you can do to look bright eyed and bushy tailed- even if you don’t feel it! First, pop two spoons in the fridge for twenty minutes, and then press the back of them onto your eyes. The cool metal helps to shrink and de-puff eyes, it feels really refreshing too. Next, conceal dark circles using a peach concealer. This colour corrects and neutralises the blue tones under the eyes. You can then go in with your regular skin coloured concealer, but choose one that’s light and doesn’t look heavy or collect under the eyes. Next, a neutral eyeshadow look with plenty of black mascara can help eyes look bigger and more open and awake. A white eyeliner on the waterline can brighten things up even further.

Puffy Cheeks

Maybe a lack of sleep has caused puffy cheeks, or maybe your diet hasn’t been the best lately. Salt and sugar can both cause water retention. Drinking plenty of water to flush this out and addressing your food choices is the obvious step, but in the meantime, makeup has your back! Contouring and highlighting can give the appearance of sculpting and chiselling the cheekbones, making your face look slimmer and more defined. There are loads of tutorials online you can check out for techniques and products if you’re unsure. If your face always lacks definition, you could consider a non-invasive sculpting procedure like laser liposuction. This can make you look more attractive by making your jawline more defined, reducing jowls and giving you a nicer side profile.

Thin Lips

Our lips can naturally thin out as we age, although some of us never have particularly full lips naturally. Big lips are most definitely ‘in’ thanks to celebs like Kylie Jenner, if you want to boost your pout, there are a few things you could try. Aside from lip injections you could also use makeup to carefully overline and define lips with a good liner and lipstick. If you temporarily want to make your lips bigger to snap the perfect selfie, you could use a suction cup tool.

Skin Conditions

Acne, rosacea, birthmarks and other skin conditions can all cause a lack of confidence. When your skin is so visible, it can be a difficult situation to deal with. Thankfully there are products on the market that are excellent, and can cover up all kinds of marks and blemishes. If your skin is sore or prone to being irritated, try natural mineral makeup. This offers good coverage without the chemicals that can cause problems.
