After working on the computer too long or blurred vision from bright lights, has potential to effect us all. A simple trigger to help alleviate eye strain is by rubbing the outside of your leg.

To find the right location, put your fingers on your ankle and where the start of the palm touches the leg is about the right area to release the strain.

Place your fingers in that area, rub, while applying a mild amount of pressure. The eye strain should subside, fairly quickly.

Tips on Triggers: Can’t shake that headache?

One trigger everyone can use at one point in time, is knowing how relieve a headache fairly quick. The best spot to tackle that headache, is a the point in between your thumb and “pointer” finger. It’s that pudgy part of the web, when you stretch the finger and thumb to make the famous “L” shape.

Press down with your opposite hand’s finger (under hand) and thumb (on top of hand). Apply a deep pressure and hold for several seconds and release. Magically the pain in your head should start to release as well. If pain continues, try trigger point again or switch hands and repeat process.

When doing laundry, there are times you find the mystery button or safety pin that made it through the laundry cycle. So, what do you do? Usually, put if off to the side and you’ll try to comeback for it later.

But in some cases, by the time you do, it can’t be found. Trigger a clutter free laundry area, with using a small decorative bowl, glass, candy dish or basket.

This allows one to be able to have a place for loose change or anything else that hasn’t been cleared out of the pockets of your laundered clothes, and will then be in one place, to be found again when needed.

I always found it ironic that vampires don’t like garlic. Eating garlic cleans your blood. The cleaner your blood, the better it is for your immune health.

So, the best start at triggering a healthy immune system is eating garlic. Eating raw garlic can be too harsh for many, but you will still get benefits by cooking with fresh garlic. Another way to get your daily source of garlic without the smell is, garlic pills.

It may not be cold season yet, but it’s best to build the immune system up now, without all the cold germs floating around.

A great natural skin care regimen is important. The skin is the largest organ we have, and you have to take care of it.

Some people have very sensitive skin, where cleansers, astringents and scrubs are not possible; soap can be abrasive enough.

Try a mixture of witch hazel and tea tree oil as a facial wipe. Get a small bottle and fill it with witch hazel and add several drops of tea tree oil. Shake the bottle and apply to face with a cotton ball. The witch hazel will be a light astringent, pulling out impurities and healing the skin while the tea tree soothes, moisturizes, kills bacteria and other impurities, while healing the skin as well.

Eating the skin of fried poultry or cured bacon, actually has a benefit that can help those without cholesterol problems. These foods, contain a high amount of  the amino acid, Hydroxyproline, which helps in rebuilding collagen. 

So when eating that fried chicken, be sure to eat the skin to get the actual healthy benefit for your skin.

Of Course, there are many methods of relieving stress, and here is just another quick response area, to relieve stress swiftly.

Massage firmly above the breasts, yet below the collar bone, on the chest with your fists, in a circular motion. Move the radius of motion, towards the center out towards the arm pit. This will loosen the muscles, while it relieves stress and push toxins towards the glands, for release from the body.

Not all were born with a green thumb, so finding a little help in the garden can go a long way. A great way to trigger your plants to grow, could be using used coffee grounds.

Now, that most coffee drinkers use the k-cup, this could actually be an easier process in some ways.

Coffee grounds can get moldy so, try putting a stash of used k-cups in a bag and keeping them sealed in the fridge until you are ready to cut open the top and spread the grounds in the flower beds.

One cup would be enough for 1 section of plants. This makes measuring easy.

I felt it myself. The winter is coming to an end, and the urge to get outside and clean up the beaten yard when the sun is shining, it is running through your veins. Well it’s not time to do all that stuff, that most enjoy like, grass seed and flowers; The last frost hasn’t happened yet. But you need to shake off your cabin fever, so what is it time to do, in the the yard? Now is the time, to cut back those trees and bushes that aren’t populated with leaves and bugs. While doing that, you’ll get some much needed vitamin D. Remember, have the right tools for the job.
