The base of you neck tends to carry a large amount of your daily stress. When these muscles get tight or knotted, it can cause major headaches and backaches.

If you’ve had a headache or a back pain that you just can shake, try applying a slight pressure between the base of the neck and shoulder. If you feel the shock run straight to your consistent pain, then that’s center of your discomfort.

Gradually massage and add ice for 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. The next day you can apply heat with same 20 minute rule. Apply a menthol gel if you need deep relief.

The thyroid is more of a problem then people realize; usually most don’t recognize an issue until it’s a full blown problem.
Some have people have over-active, Hyperthyroidism and some have under-active thyroids called Hypothyroidism. This can lead to many problems which is usually first seen by one’s weight or eyes.

There is actually a trigger point that you can use everyday, to keep the thyroid in balance.

The trigger point is one step below your collarbone. (As seen in photo)

Use your thumb and pointer finger to massage the are while taking deep breaths.

Doing this daily, will give you a sense of calm while keeping the balance of the thyroid.

Period cramps can be debilitating to some women. The pain can have some ladies doubled over in pain for the first few days.

It doesn’t have to be so uncomfortable. There is a trigger area that can help break down the period to relieve cramping.

A quick understanding on why this happens is cramps are usually caused by the flow. Clotting and thickness are usually the culprit of a painful cramp. So, in reality, making a thinner flow will reduce the pain and throbbing.

Take 3 fingers and massage gently in a circular motion, right below the underwear waistband line or right above the hair line on the cramping side. It only has to be massaged for moments at a time, like when you feel a cramp.

Within minutes the cramp with usually go away with kind relief. In some cases you may find after the massage, you have a heavy flow or clot that releases only for a moment.

Depending on exactly where your back spams are happening, you can find much relief by using pressure points in the calf of your leg.

Place your hand flat on the leg with the middle finger at the outside of ankle. Feel where the top of your palm lands on the calf. That’s the approximate area of where to apply pressure.

Using a fair amount of force, massage the area well. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids after the massaging. many toxins release during deep pressure massages.

This should have a nice helping effect on relieving some of those painful back spasms.

Eating slowly is the best way to digest properly, but not everyone or ever time allows that to happen.

So after you are done eating, pop in a piece of gum. Not only does it help with breath, it helps the stomach acids churn and digest the food consumed.
