Don’t be afraid to call the doctor
People might think it’s silly to call the doctor over small symptoms. However, you know your child best, and if something doesn’t seem right then it’s better to be safe than sorry. Some severe illnesses start with relatively minor symptoms but progress quickly and so seeking medical advice is advised. It’s not to say you need to panic if something seems off, but do speak to your GP and gain advice even if it’s for your own peace of mind.
Your best bet is to be vigilant and careful, you don’t need to be constantly worrying, panicking and fearing the worst. But knowing what kinds of hazards and illnesses are out there and a risk, having systems in place to protect your child is no bad thing.
