Help Bad Breath Naturally

Bad breath is a fear many folks have. Some mouths suffer from it on a daily basis while some only have issues after certain foods. Bad breath can come from underlying diseases or a simple garlic dinner.

Gum, tongue and teeth health will help keep your breath fresh.

Lightly brush your gums and tongue when brushing your teeth two/three times a day. Flossing is an important habit to get into. You wouldn’t leave most types of food on the counter for a day, let alone days. So, why leave it in between your teeth. Forgetting to floss can really contribute to bad breath.

If your tongue is coated you maybe having issues in your digestive tract. Yeast is a big culprit to bad breath. Having oral thrush could be stemmed from stomach issues to just having too much sugar in your diet. Fixing the issue will help fix your breath because sadly, lot of mouthwashes, mints and gum have a plethora of sugar that will only intensify your bad breath issues. Try an all-natural breath spray to help eliminate bad breath without adding unnecessary sugar into your system.

Oil-pulling has helped with bacteria and yeast issues in the mouth. If you chose to try this, be very careful not to swallow the oil. ‘Pulling’ does just that. It pulls the bacteria or yeast off the surfaces, and trust me, you don’t want to swallow that.

Another way to use oil is instead of Pulling, is to make a Tongue Balm.

First off, it taste good. It’s non-toxic. And it’s a quick trick to use after meals or before you pucker up. Bonus, swapping spit will help kill germs in your partners mouth as well, just be sure they aren’t allergic to coconut or peppermint.

Apply a thin coat of coconut oil onto your tongue. It will cleanse the tongue while on the move.

Making a Tongue Balm

One tablespoon Coconut oil

Two drops of Peppermint oil

Mix coconut oil with the two drops of Peppermint oil. Put into a small air-tight jar. Apply a small layer to tongue several times a day.

Eat the right foods to treat your tummy well

Eating the proper foods can help with keeping your breath fresh. Believe it or not, garlic is one of those foods that is great for your stomach.

Stay away from things too high in sugar as well as things that are too high in yeast like beers. Not that there’s anything with sugar and beer in moderation. However, be mindful of your tummy and your tummy will respect your mouth.
