With cold and flu season, people tend to be a little more thorough with the cleaning habits. Germs can get on everything. One item most people forget to wipe down on a weekly basis is, the remote control.
I know, it’s not a hotel remote, only you and the family use it. But remember, its used when your or the kids are sick, after coughing, eating, licking fingers, etc. These unnoticed habits, can leave behind a ton of populating germs.
Best way to wipe down the remote, is with a wrung out cloth or paper towel mixed with vinegar and water. A quick wipe over will kill bacteria and germs.
Tough to reach in between buttons? Use a cotton swab to get in the small spaces.
