Stupid Tip of the Day: No Need to Treat Patent Leather.

It’s actually a good idea to treat patent leather, whether it’s a bag or shoes. Patent leather can scuff easily, so treating it can prevent and protect that from happening.

The simplest way to treat patent leather is using a cloth dipped in petroleum jelly, and polishing it on, in a circular motion. Once you’ve covered the patent leather, use a dry clean cloth to buff off the excess.

This will leave your patent leather conditioned and protected.
