Quickie: Remove Mud Stains on Carpet.

With wet conditions, it is easy to pick up dirt and mud on the shoes. Trekking it in the house to end up embedded into the rug, can be an unsightly hassle.

The simple way to get the mud stain out of the carpet is to first, vacuum over the stain. Then, spray a mix of 1 part Peroxide and 4 parts water over the stain (remember, peroxide is a natural bleach, so use with caution on darker rugs).

Put a towel over the stain for 10 minutes, while periodically pressing on the towel. This will lift up the mud.

Finally, mix together a grease fighting dish soap and water, and rub with a new clean towel, to get the remainder of the stain and neutralize the peroxide. Let dry, and vacuum again.

The stain should be lifted, naturally. Repeat process until stain has been lifted.
